Questions we get

What affects the cost of tile work in the Chicago suburbs?

Room size is only one part of the price. Removing the old surface, the condition of the base, layout, access, waterproofing, tile size, cuts and finish details all change the scope. We look at the room in person before we price it.

Which tile types do you install?

Ceramic, porcelain, large-format porcelain, natural stone, mosaic and glass, when the tile suits the room. Before we start, we look at the base, tile size, grout joint and upkeep together.

Who supplies the tile?

You can pick the tile yourself, or we can talk through options when we plan the room. Before we set the plan, we need the product details, the room it’s for, the tile size and the finish.

Do you take small jobs?

Send us the details. We look at a small backsplash, a repair or a single tile area the same way as a larger job: access, prep and materials.

How should I prepare the room?

Clear personal items out and make sure we can reach the work area before the visit. Anything more depends on the room, the existing surface and whether the job includes removal, waterproofing or floor leveling.

What does the workmanship warranty cover?
